So because .....
- its the first day of the month - a natural starting place.
- my crafty life as been a little unfocused of late.
- my entry into blogging seems to have kickstarted my mojo and I don't want to lose such a rare and beautiful thing .......
Now I admit, I am a reluctant goal setter - mainly because I get downhearted when they are not achieved. I think in the past I have tended to be a bit over ambitious - too many and somewhat unrealistic. Also reviewing is a necessary part of goal setting and I don't tend to do that either. So, bearing this in mind, I have decided to focus on some crafty goals for the month, with regular updates on progress.
I have dug out this note book;
which I am going to use to record the goals and also make notes on the progress.
So (drum roll please) here they are;
- Finish the quilt I started earlier this week - see this post for details.
- Make some Easter Bunting or Fabric Bowls (can't quite decide) with this lovely fabric
- My 2011 Album - I want to do something along the lines of the Document 2010 that ran on the Ukscrappers forum last year. I have even bought the album and the divided page protectors - just need to start.
- 5 scrapbook layouts from my 2010 photos.
- Continue to blog - working on some design elements such as the header and side bars. Also use my BFS prompts to try and establish my voice.
Phew! I'm going to lie down in dark room now to get over the excitement of such a public exposure! Check back later in the month for an update. (I promise!)

Clear goals - hope that you achieve them!
I'm not good with goals myself lol - but I really do hope you do something with that Easter fabric because I'd love to see it!
Good goals...best of luck with them. I'm with you on hoping to work on the design elements of my blog!
Alison xx
I enjoy having my goals down in print. So glad you shared these - will be looking forward to the results.
I'm not so good at goals, like you I can get down when I don't complete them, which is mad because I set them!! We are strange creatures are we not? I love the Easter fabric and really love bunting, easy and cheerful. I have made lots of bowls as well, so satisfying, I would love to see what you do with the fabric. I have had a lovely time visiting you this morning, thanks x
